Creating an LIO SF Lightning Chat Report Type

Step Action
1

In Setup, use the following path go to Report Types:

Setup Home > Feature Settings > Analytics > Reports & Dashboards >

Report Types

Click on New Custom Report Type.

Fill In / Select the following:
Primary Object

Chat Transcripts

Report Type Label

Language I/O Lightning Chat Translation Report

Description

Example:

Used to generate a report containing Language I/O Lightning Chat translations and meta data.

Customer Support Reports

 Report Type Setup - Filled out EXAMPLE

4 Click Next.png in the bottom right corner.

Click on the box below the Primary Object to create a relationship.

From the drop-down list select Language I/O Transcripts.

7 Click on Save.png in the bottom right corner.

Creating a Report from an Existing LIO SF Lightning Chat Report Type

Step Action
1

Go into Reports via the following path:

Reports > New Report > Customer Support Reports > Language I/O Lightning Chat Translation Report

Click Continue.png.

2 Add the following columns from the Language I/O Transcripts area:
  • Locale (visitor locale)
  • Transcript (full translated transcript text)
  • Word Count

Under Filters apply the correct date filters.

4 Click Run.png in the upper right.

The report looks similar to the Sample below:
