Creating an LIO SF Case Translations Report Type

Step Action
1

In Setup, use the following path go to Report Types:

Setup Home > Feature Settings > Analytics > Reports & Dashboards >

Report Types

 Click on New Custom Report Type.

Fill In / Select the following:
Primary Object

LinguistNow Translations

Report Type Label

Language I/O Case Translations

Example:

Used to generate a report containing actual LIO translated content.

4 Click Next.png in the bottom right corner.
5  On the next screen, click Save.png in the bottom right corner.

Description

Example:

Used to generate a report containing metadata related to translation requests including status,
translation type (machine translation vs. human translation) and word count.

4  Click Next.png in the bottom right corner.
5 On the next page, click Save.png in the bottom right corner.

Running a Report from an Existing LIO SF Case Translations Report Type

Step Action
1

Go into Reports via the following path:

Reports > New Report > Customer Support Reports > Language IO Case
Translations

Click Continue.png.

Add Desired Columns and Groups from Outline.

Note:

  • These columns MUST include CaseId, and TranslationText at a minimum.

Under Filters apply the correct date filters.

4 Click Run.png in the upper right.

The report looks similar to the Sample below:

Running a Report from an Existing LIO SF Case Metadata Report Type

Step Action
1

Go into Reports via the following path:

Reports > New Report > Customer Support Reports > Language IO Case
Metadata

Click Continue.png.

Add Desired Columns and Groups from Outline such as:

  • CaseId
  • Created By
  • IsMachine
    • Indicates whether it was a machine translation or human translation.
  • Created Date
  • Status Message
  • Word Count

Click Run.png in the upper right.
