Language I/O (LIO) Troubleshooting - Salesforce (SF) - Case - Callout couldn't access the Endpoint

Issue

Agent receives the error message shown below: Call_out_couldnt_access_the_endpoint_error.jpg

 

Example Scenario

Agent attempts to translate an incoming customer text, but receive the following error message:

Solution
Step Action
1

Contact LIO Support (support@languageio.com) and request for API credentials.

Within Salesforce navigate to Setup > Named Credentials.
 Take note of the newly created Named Credential ‘Label’ name

Create a new Named Credentials with the correct API credentials (those provided by LIO Support).

Note:

  •  Take note of the newly created Named Credential Label name as this is used in Step 6.

Navigate to setup > customer settings. 

5 Click on Manage next to the LIO Response Public settings. 
6 Click on Edit.

Populate the Named Credential field with the Label name of the newly created Named Credential in Step 2.
