Language I/O (LIO) Troubleshooting - Salesforce (SF) - Article - Article Translation Missing Locales

Issue

Article translation missing for certain locales.

 

Example Scenario

Client submitted a project to translate an article into multiple languages. In this Example, Spanish translations aren’t linked to the original English article like is seen for all the other languages in SF.

Notice under View Translations Spanish translations isn’t listed.

However it can be seen that the Spanish translation article was Published but isn’t linked to the original English article.

The Spanish locale was not activated in Knowledge Settings.

Notice under Translations - Spanish - inactive.

Solution
To activate the missing locale for Articles, perform the following Steps in Lightning.
Step Action
1

Navigate to Setup.

In the Quick Find box search for Knowledge Settings > Edit

Under Language Settings activate the missing locale (in the example above Spanish) > Save
